First Place in Post Graduate - Bitch, Judge: Mrs J Carr (Wreighaugh)
I’d like to thank the Committee for their invitation to judge this show. As always it was very well organised and there was a very hospitable welcome. Thanks to my steward who kept things moving along. Thank you also to the exhibitors for the excellent entry and, despite a few absentees, I had some lovely Borders to go over. Coats were very varied; mouths were good and there were no kinked tails. Thank you to all the exhibitors and spectators who came and supported the show and created such a good atmosphere.
3 year old blue and tan. Good head, moderately broad with short muzzle and good dentition. Good length of neck leading into correct shoulders. Nice straight narrow front and tight neat feet. She has good layback of rib and topline which she held well on the move. Nice loose pelt with good coat coming through. Moved well to win the class however not quite as fluent in the challenge.
