Second Place in Yearling - Bitch, Judge: Mrs J Carr (Wreighaugh)
I’d like to thank the Committee for their invitation to judge this show. As always it was very well organised and there was a very hospitable welcome. Thanks to my steward who kept things moving along. Thank you also to the exhibitors for the excellent entry and, despite a few absentees, I had some lovely Borders to go over. Coats were very varied; mouths were good and there were no kinked tails. Thank you to all the exhibitors and spectators who came and supported the show and created such a good atmosphere.
19 month old blue and tan. Very attractive head with keen feminine expression. Strong, short muzzle with good teeth. She has a nice reach of neck and good shoulders, easily spannable and good rib, strong loin. Lovely well ticked coat and thick pelt. Moved well, just preferred the fluency of 1 today.
