I’d like to thank the Committee for their invitation to judge this show. As always it was very well organised and there was a very hospitable welcome. Thanks to my steward who kept things moving along. Thank you also to the exhibitors for the excellent entry and, despite a few absentees, I had some lovely Borders to go over. Coats were very varied; mouths were good and there were no kinked tails. Thank you to all the exhibitors and spectators who came and supported the show and created such a good atmosphere.
14 month old blue and tan. Nice moderately broad head with lovely dark eye and keen expression. Strong muzzle and teeth. Nice shoulders and topline, easily spanned. She has correct tailset and carried her tail well on the move. Lovely coat and loose pelt. Good rear angulation and fluent movement. Just preferred the drive and balance of 1
