First Place in Puppy - Bitch, Judge: Mrs J Carr (Wreighaugh)
I’d like to thank the Committee for their invitation to judge this show. As always it was very well organised and there was a very hospitable welcome. Thanks to my steward who kept things moving along. Thank you also to the exhibitors for the excellent entry and, despite a few absentees, I had some lovely Borders to go over. Coats were very varied; mouths were good and there were no kinked tails. Thank you to all the exhibitors and spectators who came and supported the show and created such a good atmosphere.
Blue and tan. Just a week short of her 1st birthday she was on top form. Good, moderately broad and feminine head with a dark eye and keen expression. Lovely straight, narrow front and well angulated shoulders. Easily spanned, she has good layback of rib, strong loin and correct tailset. Good pelt and coat. Beautifully balanced on the move. BPB.
