The Scottish Border Terrier Club Limited Show (26-01-2020)

First Place in Open - Dog, Judge: Mrs J Carr (Wreighaugh)

Show Critique:

I’d like to thank the Committee for their invitation to judge this show. As always it was very well organised and there was a very hospitable welcome. Thanks to my steward who kept things moving along. Thank you also to the exhibitors for the excellent entry and, despite a few absentees, I had some lovely Borders to go over. Coats were very varied; mouths were good and there were no kinked tails. Thank you to all the exhibitors and spectators who came and supported the show and created such a good atmosphere.

Placing Critique:

5 year old red grizzle. Another nice head with a strong muzzle and good dentition. He was easily spannable with nice narrow front and good tight feet. Good length of rib and a good topline which he held on the move. Nice coat and pelt.
