The Scottish Border Terrier Club Limited Show (26-01-2020)

First Place in Puppy - Dog, Judge: Mrs J Carr (Wreighaugh)

Show Critique:

I’d like to thank the Committee for their invitation to judge this show. As always it was very well organised and there was a very hospitable welcome. Thanks to my steward who kept things moving along. Thank you also to the exhibitors for the excellent entry and, despite a few absentees, I had some lovely Borders to go over. Coats were very varied; mouths were good and there were no kinked tails. Thank you to all the exhibitors and spectators who came and supported the show and created such a good atmosphere.

Placing Critique:

10 month old grizzle puppy. Good masculine head with strong muzzle and jaw with good dentition. He has a good narrow, straight front; easily spanned with a nice length of rib. He has a nice level top line, which he held well on the move, and a good tail set. Good rear angulation and musculature gave very sound movement. Really nice loose pelt and good coat. RBPIS.
