Second Place in Open, Judge: Mrs Sandra Girling (Benattivo)
My thanks firstly go to the Society for the kind invitation to judge this show and also to the exhibitors who trusted me with their lovely Border Terriers. All my class winners were of very good quality and were in super condition which was very pleasing. I did feel some of the exhibits perhaps weren’t so comfortable on the arena surface. Also some were not awfully animated which I felt may have been contributed to the cold weather as they seemed not to be very relaxed through the loin.
Another quality bitch, she was shown in a short grizzle and tan jacket. She has a nice head and moderate length of neck which leads into a good shoulder and top line with racy hindquarters that she used well when settled.
