First of all, I must express my sincere thanks to the exhibitors for accepting me as the replacement judge and of course to the society for giving me the opportunity to judge a wide range of breeds that I may not normally judge. I spent most of Saturday, studying the breed standards of those breeds to ensure that I judged in accordance with the standards, especially when some of those best of breeds, best puppy achieved group placings that made my day even more special. Last but certainly not least my steward, Anne Defaye, who kept me on my toes throughout the day and was a joy to work with. A small but quality entry.
a grizzle male, up to size, moved really well coming and going and in profile. A superb harsh coat. Could easily do the job he was bred for.
