Show Critique:

I must thank the officers and committee for allowing me to judge their Club Open show which was a great honour and which I really enjoyed. The hospitality and the friendly atmosphere made for a nice show and the quality of the dogs was exceptional. I must thank the Club for the lovely gift and Jan Hollingsbee for the flowers which are still alive and looking good. I must also thank my steward Julie Green who gave up her entry to steward for me.

Placing Critique:

This 11 months youngster was a beautiful standout example of the breed she took my attention being very attractive and well put together and she was just as nice to go over. Pretty correctly shaped Otter head, good dark eye with a sparkle, well set on and carried ears. Slight stop, strong short muzzle well furnished. Good strength to a moderate neck into shoulders, good span behind, firm level back line, well set and carried happy tail. Correctly angulated forequarters with depth and width to chest, straight boned legs and compact round feet. Lovely depth to body with substance having ribs well back into short loin. Excellent quality coat, harsh textured red with good thick skin. Hindquarters well developed with moderate stifle and short let down hocks. Very free sound mover with nice style and action covering the ground well. BPB BPiS
