Great Yarmouth, Gorleston & District Canine Society Open Show (29-09-2019)

First Place in Puppy, Judge: Anne Speake

Show Critique:

I’d like to thank the society for asking me to judge at this their first premier open show, and the lovely hospitality received. Thanks also to my stewards Sue and Alison who kept the ring running smoothly. Thank you to all the exhibitors for the privilege of judging your dogs.

Placing Critique:

6mth g/t bitch who very much appealed for size. Lovely feminine head, small neat ears and a keen dark eye. Good reach of neck and well placed shoulders, good length of rib, leading in to a level top line and short carroty tail well set on. Coat was of a good wiry texture with a loose pliable pelt. Movement was unsettled which cost her best puppy to her litter brother in the challenge, a very nice pup who I liked a lot.
Many of the same comments applied to the dog puppy Whitestubbs Gandhi Boy Bach that was unplaced in a strong special yearling class, just felt his movement was more settled today, who went on to get BPIB and TPG4
