First Place in Junior, Judge: Mrs C E Sansom (Tarkaswell)
I would like to thank the Leek and District Show Society for inviting me to judge at their traditional agricultural show. Thanks also to my very efficient steward Sharon Bowers and to the exhibitors who gave me such a lovely entry and the honour of going over their dogs. Coats and pelts were generally good, but front movement was variable and I did find some exhibits with incorrect dentition.
Grizzle and tan bitch, with a feminine head, dark eye and correct bite. Moderate in length, she was narrow with ribs carried well back. Balanced and correctly constructed, she moved out well with excellent reach and drive. Presented in a harsh, dense coat and thick pelt.
