Second Place in Junior, Judge: Mrs Sue Baxter (Mysulan/Sulan)
My thanks go to the committee for their invitation to judge Borders and the hospitality received on the day , both were much appreciated. My steward Jean Walker helped keep things on track , thank you . I am grateful for the sporting way in which my decisions were accepted and thanks go to all the exhibitors who gave me entries and allowed me the pleasure of going over their dogs .
In general , one or 2 exhibits may have been carrying a little too much “condition” and benefit from perhaps a better work to calorie ratio. Feet were good and all dogs appeared to be intact .Bites all seemed correct at this stage and no sign of any kinked tails.
an eager grizzle bitch of a slightly larger stamp. Head and expression pleasing , movement was good once she steadied . A little bit short of coat today. Pelt was good and another day could see these two bitches change places.
