Second Place in Yearling, Judge: Mrs Jill Stevens (Cobstoneway)
I would like to thank the committee for giving me the honour of judging at this lovely show, and for the hospitality shown on the day. Thank you also to my 2 very efficient stewards, Lesley and Judith, but most of all I would like to thank all the exhibitors who gave me such a lovely entry of quality dogs which were a pleasure to go over. I found no bad mouths, no kinked tails, and all the dogs were entire. Coats were at various stages, as to be expected, but none of the exhibits were without the correct double coat needed by a working terrier.
A beautiful grizzle and tan bitch who was unlucky to meet 1st today. She is lovely for size and type, and moderation all round, just being slightly deeper in brisket but still easily spannable and with a lovely harsh topcoat. She has a beautiful head with a short, strong muzzle and powerful jaw. She has a moderate length of neck nice topline, and moves with real drive from behind.
