Second Place in Junior, Judge: Mrs Jill Stevens (Cobstoneway)
I would like to thank the committee for giving me the honour of judging at this lovely show, and for the hospitality shown on the day. Thank you also to my 2 very efficient stewards, Lesley and Judith, but most of all I would like to thank all the exhibitors who gave me such a lovely entry of quality dogs which were a pleasure to go over. I found no bad mouths, no kinked tails, and all the dogs were entire. Coats were at various stages, as to be expected, but none of the exhibits were without the correct double coat needed by a working terrier.
Very much still a baby at just 6 months old, she was reserve in a very strong puppy class, but was more settled in this class and enjoying her day out. She was much smaller , younger and less mature than the 1st, but full of promise being narrow and easily spanned, and having good angulation all round. She has a harsh topcoat, adequate undercoat and thick, loose pelt. Her head is feminine but has a short, strong muzzle and a keen expression.
