First Place in Puppy, Judge: Tracey Anscombe (Orangebox)
Thank you for the invitation to judge your border terrier classes. The location is very picture postcard. My two lady stewards were simply wonderful, thank you. I had a lovely entry of quality dogs with some very close decisions Coats were at differing stages which did play its part. I had no bad mouths or kinked tails and all dogs were entire.
Fine upstanding nine month old male. Very much the showman who shouts look at me and doesn’t disappoint on closer inspection. Lovely head of correct proportions with a small ear and kind eye. Coat due a refresh but was still of harsh consistency and he has plenty of pelt. Moved well around the ring keeping his shape and uses his carrot shaped tail well. I liked his size and attitude. I am sure he will trouble the best with maturity.
