First Place in Post Graduate, Judge: Mrs Sue Baxter (Mysulan)
Firstly a big thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge Border Terriers at this well organised show. Secondly another thank you to my capable stewards Pedro and Jan Fiers, who kept the ring running smoothly and took good care of me. To the exhibitors must go a heartfelt thank you for the lovely entry and the sporting manner in which my decisions were accepted.
Twenty two month Blue and Tan dog that took my eye as soon as he entered the ring. Impressive, masculine boy. Not over done or exaggerated in any way and a pleasure to go over. Head of lovely proportions, muzzle length to skull ratio correct .Eyes of nice size and shape. Narrow throughout , easy to span . Excellent topline which he held in the stack and on the move. In motion he was fluid and covered the ground effortlessly. A tight pin wire jacket was the icing on the cake. Immaculately presented and shown, a real credit to his owners. Pleased to award him Best of Breed, shame he couldn’t stay for Group.
