First Place in Puppy, Judge: Anne Speake
I’d like to extend my thanks to the society for their invitation to judge, to my efficient steward Christine, who ensured things ran smoothly. To the exhibitors, it was a privilege to judge your dogs. Temperaments were excellent; all dogs were entire; and mouths were good. However, coats varied, and some dogs paid the price.
A lovely class of promising puppies, I look forward to seeing them in the future.
Ten month old feminine grizzle and tan bitch, strong head, dark eye and keen expression, with good ear set. Straight front, standing on neat well padded feet, well laid shoulders and ribs carried well back, easily spanned. Good length of body, and strong loin, finished off with a well set on short carroty tail. Well muscled hindquarters which she used on the move, keeping her top line. Loose pelt with a tight coat. BP and PG2.
