First Place in Open, Judge: Miss Helen Axford
Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge at this well-run show, to my very efficient stewards and to the exhibitors for both entering under me and the sporting way they accepted my decisions. All dogs were entire and all bites were in accordance with what is required by the breed standard.
It was a privilege to go over this well known champion bitch, she was in super full coat and has a thick pelt & level topline which she held on the move. Going round the ring she really covers the ground. She has a moderately broad skull with a short strong foreface. She has a classic carrot tail which really finishes the picture. She was shown on a loose lead and is at one with her handler, she is a real show girl. I was delighted to hear that she had gone TG1 & then went on to take RBIS.
