First Place in Open, Judge: Tracey Anscombe (Orangebox)
Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge Border Terriers at your show. The venue was super light and airy I understand that this was the first dog show held here. Thanks also to my two stewards that kept me in check.
My notes just say ‘she’s lovely!’ You really need to get your hands on this bitch to really appreciate her. Presented in a tweedy jacket of correct texture and with undercoat. So easy to span with correct rib well carried back. Sound movement holding her shape and topline around the ring. The most gorgeous head and expression with a dark eye, small ears and big teeth! Stands on small feet and is such a happy showgirl using her carrot tail to evidence this.
