First Place in Post Graduate, Judge: Mrs Elizabeth Barrett (Howthwaite)
I would like to thank York Canine Association for inviting me to judge their 125th anniversary show. Thank you also for the great hospitality and to my efficient ring stewards. I had an excellent entry of quality dogs to go over and would like to thank all of the exhibitors for their entries. Unfortunately with only three mixed sex classes, some very good dogs had to stand down the line, but all of my card winners had the attributes I look for.
Fifteen months old grizzle and tan bitch. One I judged as a puppy and am pleased to see is maturing into a very nice bitch. Moderate head with dark eye, flat skull and an excellent bite. Good neck into lovely well laid shoulders. Good angulations front and back. Narrow body of a good length, well ribbed back and good topline and underline. Shown in a good double coat. Balanced and free on the move.
