First Place in Junior, Judge: Mr C Wallace (Hobholt)
Thank you to the Society for the invitation, the warm welcome by all and thanks to the exhibitors for a super entry and bringing your Borders’. The quality of exhibits was good, some tough decisions were made, I was really pleased with my final line up and that BOB and BP went well in the Group. It was unfortunate the Veteran class wasn’t called more clearly as not all the Veterans present were in the ring.
B, 13 mths, Gr/T, well presented, lovely head, big teeth, dark oval eye. Narrow, good shoulders & reach of neck, nice front with strong pasterns, good top line to great tail set with thick moderate tail. Loose, thick pelt with good harsh coat, moved with purpose, was true, front, rear and from the side. Won top honours on movement today and did well in a very large terrier group. BOB.
