First Place in Open, Judge: Debbie Lorraine (Raleniro)
I would like to thank the committee for their invitation to judge at this show, and also the exhibitors for their entry.
Eyecatching grizzle and tan bitch just coming up to 2 and a half years. Strong but feminine otter head with strong foreface and moderately broad muzzle with lovely dark eye and expression, good scissor bite. Fabulous straight front with well padded, tight feet. Good length of neck and excellent front angulation, well ribbed, narrow throughout and easily spanned. Well muscled rear with strong loin and good turn of stifle. Excellent topline and well set on tail. Fantastic loose pelt and tight harsh jacket. Presented in fit condition, moved with drive around the ring, maintaining her topline on the move. A lovely sized, well balanced bitch, another who could certainly to a day’s work. Although it was a close decision between 1 and 2 in this class, I just could not see past her on the day. Pleased to award her BOB and delighted to see she her go on to be awarded TG1.
