Second Place in Open, Judge: Mrs V Atkinson (Raedwulf)
Thank you so much to the Association for inviting me to judge Border Terriers. Thank you for the warm welcome and super hospitality. Thank you to my steward who ran the ring efficiently in the heat and to my exhibitors for the privilege of judging their dogs and the sporting manner in which my decisions were taken. Congratulations must also go to my BOB who sportingly withdrew from the group as I found out later the Group Judge was actually the breeder.
Grizzle dog with harsh jacket that was sadly past its best today. Balanced with a super head and correct bite he was easily spanned with strong loin and level top line. He presented a balanced picture and I suspect good movement but didn’t want to co-operate with his handler today.
