Best Of Breed, Judge: Sarah Pateman (Lessien)
Being my first appointment, I was very grateful to Mrs L England and the committee for asking me to judge my breed the Border Terrier at their show. Having been in the breed for over thirty years and shown twenty of those years.
The show was very well run, and the hospitality was second to none. I feel a good time was had by all even though many absent due to Covid. Lets hope it can only get better from here on as we need to support our clubs. I certainly had a great day!
This dog looked happy to be in the ring today having fun but still showing himself nicely. Keen eye, nice set ears in correct position to skull, good length of neck into positive topline, correct tail length and shape being thicker at the base tapering to end, neat tight feet and in good jacket and loose thick pelt, moved OK and level all round. Happy to award him his placings and my BOB on the day.
