First Place in Open - Bitch, Judge: Mrs J Carr (Wreighaugh)
I’d like to thank the Committee for their invitation to judge this show. As always it was very well organised and there was a very hospitable welcome. Thanks to my steward who kept things moving along. Thank you also to the exhibitors for the excellent entry and, despite a few absentees, I had some lovely Borders to go over. Coats were very varied; mouths were good and there were no kinked tails. Thank you to all the exhibitors and spectators who came and supported the show and created such a good atmosphere.
4 year old grizzle. Typical head with moderately broad skull, good dentition and correct ear set. She has good shoulders and has a nice straight front. Good rib, easily spannable, and strong loin. She has a nice tail set and rear angulation. Good coat and pelt and she moved steadily around the ring.
