First Place in Yearling - Bitch, Judge: Mrs J Carr (Wreighaugh)
I’d like to thank the Committee for their invitation to judge this show. As always it was very well organised and there was a very hospitable welcome. Thanks to my steward who kept things moving along. Thank you also to the exhibitors for the excellent entry and, despite a few absentees, I had some lovely Borders to go over. Coats were very varied; mouths were good and there were no kinked tails. Thank you to all the exhibitors and spectators who came and supported the show and created such a good atmosphere.
21 month old grizzle. Good head with short, strong muzzle and good bite. Lovely straight narrow front. She has a good layback of rib and is easily spanned, strong loin and a nice topline – almost disguised by her super full coat. Nice loose pelt. Moved out well with drive. RBB
