Second Place in Post Graduate, Judge: Mrs Sandra Girling (Benattivo)
My thanks firstly go to the Society for the kind invitation to judge this show and also to the exhibitors who trusted me with their lovely Border Terriers. All my class winners were of very good quality and were in super condition which was very pleasing. I did feel some of the exhibits perhaps weren’t so comfortable on the arena surface. Also some were not awfully animated which I felt may have been contributed to the cold weather as they seemed not to be very relaxed through the loin.
Handsome male with the most appealing Ottery head he’s strong in muzzle. Shown in a deep double grizzle and tan jacket he has a thick pliable pelt. Pleasing bodylines and easily spanned with tail well set and used on the move. He didn’t quite have the drive of the winner today.
