First Place in Post Graduate, Judge: Mrs Sandra Girling (Benattivo)
My thanks firstly go to the Society for the kind invitation to judge this show and also to the exhibitors who trusted me with their lovely Border Terriers. All my class winners were of very good quality and were in super condition which was very pleasing. I did feel some of the exhibits perhaps weren’t so comfortable on the arena surface. Also some were not awfully animated which I felt may have been contributed to the cold weather as they seemed not to be very relaxed through the loin.
Lovely size grizzle and tan bitch shown in a short new jacket of the correct texture. Attractive head and dark eye and neat well placed ears. Nice neat straight front with tight feet. So easily spanned and good rib, her loin was strong with racy hindquarters. She moved well to secure the class win and Reserve Best of Breed.
