First Place in Open, Judge: Margaret Davies (Glenorchy)
Many thanks to the society for their kind invitation to judge a well organised show. Also my stewards Carolyn and Graham Richardson who did an excellent job and last but by no means least the exhibitors for their entries. The grass was rather long and this could have affected the movement on some of the dogs.
Smart grizzle dog with the best of coats today. He was presented in excellent condition. Good head,good dentition, nice dark eye with correct ear set, good reach of neck flowing into well laid shoulders. Straight front and nice tight feet. Good level topline which he held on the move. Good tailset, good hindquarters which he uses well. BOB.
