Leek & DSS Open Show (27-07-2019)

Second Place in Post Graduate, Judge: Mrs C E Sansom (Tarkaswell)

Show Critique:

I would like to thank the Leek and District Show Society for inviting me to judge at their traditional agricultural show. Thanks also to my very efficient steward Sharon Bowers and to the exhibitors who gave me such a lovely entry and the honour of going over their dogs. Coats and pelts were generally good, but front movement was variable and I did find some exhibits with incorrect dentition.

Placing Critique:

Blue and tan 2 year old dog, with a dark eye, strong muzzle and correct bite. A deep, narrow body, with straight forelimbs and ribs carried well back, led into a strong loin and well set tail. With correctly angulated hindquarters and well let down hocks, he moved out soundly with purpose. Although heI preferred the coat and pelt of 1.
