The Midland Border Terrier Club Open Show (10-02-2019)

First Place in Junior - Dog, Judge: Mrs Margaret Davies (Glenorchy)

Show Critique:

I would firstly like to thank the Club for giving me the opportunity to judge their February Open Show, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Also thank you to my very efficient stewards Julie Price ad Jem Thomas and by no means least my grateful thanks to all the exhibitors for a super entry.

A few exhibits were wide in front, one or two I couldn’t span, movement left a lot to be desired and some could have done with a little more tidying up.

Placing Critique:

What a lovely boy he is. Excellent otter head with lovely dark eye. Correct ear placement. Good depth of muzzle with lovely big teeth. Nice tight feet. Lovelt narrow front. Good reach of neck which flows into good shoulders. Excellent coat, topline and tailset. Good lose pelt. Lovely hindquarters which he uses well. Spanned easily. He was presented in excellent condition and moved round the ring with ease. Pleased to award him BD and BIS.
