Second Place in Junior - Bitch, Judge: Anne Speake
I would like to thank the officers and committee for their invitation to judge at the show. The hospitality received was much appreciated, and the day was one I really enjoyed. It was lovely to see such a good entry for the show as a whole, my thanks to my two capable stewards, who kept things moving along nicely. Thanks also to the exhibitors who did me the honour and privilege of going over their dogs and accepting my decisions in a sporting manner. All exhibits were of good quality and fit for purpose. As to be expected at this time of year, coats were at various stages. I was delighted with my entry.
13 mth old grizzle tan, another quality exhibit, unfortunate to come up against winner today. Good head, narrow front. With a good angulations front and rear, with strong hindquarters, moved well and easily spanned. Good thick pelt but short of coat today. These two could easily changes places on another day.
