West Midland Terrier Society Open Show (09-02-2019)

First Place in Open - Dog, Judge: Anne Speake

Show Critique:

I would like to thank the officers and committee for their invitation to judge at the show. The hospitality received was much appreciated, and the day was one I really enjoyed. It was lovely to see such a good entry for the show as a whole, my thanks to my two capable stewards, who kept things moving along nicely. Thanks also to the exhibitors who did me the honour and privilege of going over their dogs and accepting my decisions in a sporting manner. All exhibits were of good quality and fit for purpose. As to be expected at this time of year, coats were at various stages. I was delighted with my entry.

Placing Critique:

2 half yr old dark grizzle and tan with a strong masculine head, large white teeth in a strong jaw. Nice dark eye and neat ears. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, ribs carried well back. Good for bone. With a level top line which he held on the move, well set tail and moved soundly.
