First Place in Open, Judge: Mrs C E Sansom (Tarkaswell)
My thanks to the officers and committee of the Beckenham Canine Association for inviting me to judge at their open show and the exhibitors for their lovely quality entry. My steward Debbie Sims was very efficient and we were fortunate to have a lovely large ring which gave the dogs the opportunity to really move.
This 4yo blue and tan bitch caught my eye from the moment she entered the ring. Elegant and full of quality, she was without exaggeration but stood out for breed type. She had a feminine head with neat ears and a correct bite. She presented a balanced picture, her length of neck flowing into a level topline, firm loin and well set tail. With correct front and rear construction, she moved with ease and purpose. In superb condition, her coat was harsh and dense, with a thick, loose pelt. BOB and Terrier Group 3
