First Place in Open, Judge: Mrs Elizabeth Barrett (Howthwaite)
4 year old light grizzle and tan dog. Lovely head with short strong muzzle, dark eye and neat well set ears. Good bite. Good front. Just right for size and bone. Easily spanned. Good topline and tailset. Strong loin. Excellent hindquarters without being overdone in any way. Shown in a good harsh double coat. True on the move and in very good order. Sadly he was just not as enthusiastic on the move in the challenge as the younger dogs.
