First Place in Puppy, Judge: Mrs Sue Baxter (Mysulan)
Firstly a big thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge Border Terriers at this well organised show. Secondly another thank you to my capable stewards Pedro and Jan Fiers, who kept the ring running smoothly and took good care of me. To the exhibitors must go a heartfelt thank you for the lovely entry and the sporting manner in which my decisions were accepted.
Nine month old Grizzle dog, a little “up on the leg” for me but otherwise proportions were ok. Good length of rib. Top line and tail set acceptable. Needs time to settle and grow into himself. Coat was in transition and perhaps could have benefited from a little more tidying. A workmanlike dog who will understand his job in the ring as he matures I am sure. Best Puppy.
