I would very much like to thank the officers and committee for offering me this appointment, and for their hospitality. Thanks also to the two ring stewards. Mostly, of course, I would like to thank the exhibitors for allowing me the privilege of going over their dogs and their sporting acceptance of my decisions Temperaments on the day were excellent; I found no dogs with incorrect bites and the one male dog was entire.
5 year old blue and tan bitch. Taller and rangier than 1st place. Nice flat head and good dentition, well angulated all round. Good reach of neck into nice layback of shoulder, and good topline. Super coat and pelt. Moved well today, it was a close decision but just preferred the overall type of 1.
