Show Critique:

I would like to thank the officers and committee for the invitation to judge the Border terrier bitches, with my co judge, Bridget Singh. The hospitality received was much appreciated, and the day was one I really enjoyed. It was lovely to see such a good entry for the show as a whole, and that the borders had attracted the largest entry in the terrier group, my thanks to our two capable stewards, who kept things moving along nicely. Thanks also to the exhibitors who did me the honour and privilege of going over their bitches and accepting my decisions in a sporting manner. All exhibits were of good quality and fit for purpose and I was delighted with my entry. Bridget and I agreed on the bitches for BOB and BPIB.

Placing Critique:

Blue and tan dog, 2 years old. Strong masculine head , not overdone, with big teeth. Good shoulder placement, lovely flat ribs, well ribbed back. Racy lines. Narrow throughout with a good front assembly. Excellent, correct B & T coat. Moved very well, best mover of the dogs. Best dog, unlucky to meet the Best Bitch winner on such good form today.
