First Place in Post Graduate - Bitch

Show Critique:

I would like to thank the officers and committee for the invitation to judge the Border terrier bitches, with my co judge, Bridget Singh. The hospitality received was much appreciated, and the day was one I really enjoyed. It was lovely to see such a good entry for the show as a whole, and that the borders had attracted the largest entry in the terrier group, my thanks to our two capable stewards, who kept things moving along nicely. Thanks also to the exhibitors who did me the honour and privilege of going over their bitches and accepting my decisions in a sporting manner. All exhibits were of good quality and fit for purpose and I was delighted with my entry. Bridget and I agreed on the bitches for BOB and BPIB.

Placing Critique:

21 month old Blue & Tan racy bitch with a double coat and good ticking. Lovely feminine head and expression, nice neat ears and good scissor bite. Ribs well back and easily spanned. Good angulation and bend of stifle, moved well and retaining her topline on the move.
