First Place in Puppy, Judge: Miss Helen Axford
Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge at this well-run show, to my very efficient steward and to the exhibitors for both entering under me and the sporting way they accepted my decisions. I found one suspect mouth and some of the tails would benefit from less hair on the end as this tends to spoil an otherwise balanced picture.
Well presented eye catching 11 month bitch puppy, otter like head with moderately broad skull, short strong muzzle and the neatest of ears, she was easily spanned with a good coat and ok in pelt, she had excellent muscle tone and moved round the ring with drive. At nearly 12 months I hope she continues to grow on a bit. I was pleased to award her best puppy in breed and delighted to see her win the terrier group and go on to take best puppy in show.
