First Place in Post Graduate, Judge: Debbie Lorraine (Raleniro)
Thank you to the officers and committee for the invitation to judge at this show. Many thanks to the exhibitors for the lovely quality entry and for accepting my decisions so sportingly, there were some very close decisions and dogs could easily have changed places on another day.
Eyecatching almost two year old grizzle and tan dog. Lovely otter head, nice expression with strong muzzle and excellent bite, quite a lot of facial furnishings. Straight front with tight feet. Nice length of neck leading into good layback of shoulder. Deep enough in brisket, but good shape of rib and spannable. Excellent rear angulation, level topline with good carroty tail. Thick pelt with superb new jacket just coming through. Moved with drive around the ring which sealed his place in this class. I liked him a lot, fit for purpose and unlucky to come across the open class winners today.
